The list of Sonoma supported Macs hosts devices that across their product line switched to soldered on adapters made by USI/Murata for Apple. Most of them are the usual suspect Broadcom based, but it would be good to pool the general data about what chipsets are supported for native wireless bt functionality.
OG hardware has protective black stickers on top at least for the iMac Pro and the 21.5" iMac so if people can pool specific devices or identifiers or if you can test out existing and known to work adapters, you can help out with the compiling of known to work solutions.
