Basically, I need to establish a remote desktop session on a laptop in TX, and I'm in CO. It's a small office there, so the network consists of a few hardwired PCs and wifi laptops to a single, basic $100 router. I have the external and internal IP, the admin account username and password, and is running Windows 7.
When I try traditional methods to VPN, I get error 800, and believe the fix is in the firewall settings. Problem is, I won't have anyone in the office there anytime soon, and they are all over 60 with no technical aptitude.
Is there a way I can establish the VPN with the current settings? Any help or references you can provide are greatly appreciated!
