Stuck trying to exploit DNS

Hey all. I'm real sorry if this is a bad place to ask this question. I'm doing a lab for my ethical hacking course and I'm stuck. I need to use kali Linux to exploit an open DNS port and establish a remote shell. I downloaded a victim VM and I simply need to establish a remote shell. I have the victim IP address, I am unsure of which metasploit auxiliary/payload/exploit to use and I'm going nuts. It's been hours.
