How long to lax skin to tighten?

Hi all,
A little over four weeks out from the surgery and I’m feeling great. Shockingly, there is not a tremendous amount of swelling thus far and my chest flatness is satisfying to me. My only concern here is with some loose skin that is noticeable when bend even slightly. My surgeon said it can take up to 9 months for skin to retract, but I’m wondering what everyone else’s experience with this is! I realize 4 weeks is just the beginning but I’m curious :)
