What can I expect to see on stage?

For Sigur Ros (intimate venue) it was almost a full orchestra although sadly he didn't have the piano and cut out alot of my favorite tracks. The visuals were a sheer transparent screen in front of the band with light images on top but you could still see everything behind.
Is this more of an orchestral setup as well or is alot done with samplers and digital equipment etc?
