Need help repairing
Post Body

Bought this for 50 bucks at mine at my local gun show. Need help in repairing it back to work order. The action is lock up but don’t look like due to rust and what oil do you guys recommend to unlock the action. And it would be nice if anyone can link me to cheap websites to find replacement parts for it. It a marlin 30as in 30-30 btw

Sorry to tell you but I think you got hosed.

$50 isn't bad for something to practice on but that thing is in rough shape. I would check the bore and the barrel. If the pitting is that bad on the outside the barrel might be toast and while you can get them rebarrelled, it's not cheap.

WD-40 or Kroil should get it moving so you can fully disassemble it. Pic #3 makes me the most nervous in terms of overall integrity of the barrel/magazine.
