One lower, multiple uppers? (Different calibers)
Post Body

So recently saw a video on YouTube about a .50 BMG upper for an ar15 and that got me thinking. Could this work for other calibers? Like say you have an ar15 as a hunting rifle but also want to get into bird hunting. All you would have to do is purchase a separate upper and that's it. Granted, you would need a way to change the magazine well size. Side loading. Think FG42 or sten. That way you don't have to make any changes to the lower. Is that even possible? Or am I just off in lala land? I did find an example of my idea done in what looks to be 9mm .
