I know it might not be practical to carry a carbine in my backpack I carry everyday but, is it legal?
Georgia states, as of today, I can carry open or concealed a handgun and or long gun as long as I am permitted to legally purchase such guns.
Would I be legally ok to carry my sub2000 folded up in my backpack, nothing chambered and loaded mag not fed?
I don't realistically see myself ever having to pull it out unless I'm put into hyperspecific situations where I would need it as a backup gun. But, it would put my mind slightly as ease knowing if anything were to happen to my Beretta, I'd at least have the carbine.
All in all, the reasoning behind this would be to easily go to the range after work without having to make a stop by the house, and the backup gun factor.
Thanks
Edit:
Thanks for answering guys. Really cleared it up for me and I've gotten some solid answers. Although, I didn't think asking a question would trigger some people and make some absurb assumptions, then I remembered, I'm on reddit.
