I've been watching movies and I find it kind of ridiculous that there are heroes in the movies (eg. James Bond) who can shoot and hit somebody firing from a position that is not in a straight line from your line of sight. Like take for example James Bond in the opening scene where he walks by and just turns and shoots somebody with one hand and it seems he isn't even aiming down the pistol sights.. I'm a newbie to guns.. I was just wondering if this kind of skill is possible. And even the wild west movies where the cowboy fires rapid shots from his revolver from the waist and just cocks the hammer and shoots everybody down. Or John Woo movies where the hero has two guns and shoots in opposite directions and takes down several bad guys. Is this all possible? Or entirely just for cinematic purposes? Thanks.
