So, my friend mentioned to me one day that she had a few guns that belonged to her father, but didn't know anything about them. I offered to identify and value them for her if she showed them to me. We went to look at them and my jaw hit the floor. https://imgur.com/gallery/bij3d
Contents:
•Colt 1903 Pocket. 380 US marked Serial No.138XXX indicates 1943 manufacture.
•1917 Colt Revolver .45ACP US marked SN: 204XXX indicates 1919 manufacture.
•Colt Commando .38spl. Not sure if grips are original, they don't look like it. SN:11XXX indicates 1942 manufacture.
•Black powder dummy replica revolver. Idk why it is even in there.
•S&W semi auto I could not identify properly (didn't give a shit)
•Colt Woodsman .22lr SN: 94XXX indicates 1935 manufacture.
•S&W 1905 .38spl revolver. Not sure if grips are factory. SN: 59XXX
The Crown Jewels!!
•Mauser C96 in 7.63 Mauser. This is a Pre-war gun in near mint condition, at least 95%. SN: 138XXX indicates 1910 or 1911 manufacture.
• Colt SAA. Not sure of caliber. Probably 44 or 45. Gun is heavily worn and grips are not original. Cylinder will not always rotate when hammer is cocked and timing is way off. It has US markings. I don't have very much information on this, waiting on Colt Factory letter.
Any more information on these is welcomed, especially aprox. values etc. I did the best I could. Most of these guns have very, very little wear, possibly never fired in the case of the 1903 Colt.
Definitely want to know more about the Colt SAA, if anyone can help with that.
