I do not know that much about guns as far as what is a good one and what is a bad one. I was a soldier in the Army and I want a small CCP that is the best gun for the money. I do not expect to ever have to use it, but I want it to be there. I want an economical (not cheap) easy to maintain weapon that fires .22lr. I grew up on a farm outside of D.C. where people from my father's job came to fire weapons and the tax was always that you let his kid try it out if he asks and I was very proficient with everything they gave me right away, but I never actually learned anything.
At 9 one of them thought they were being funny and gave me a 10 gauge. They said it's going to have a lot of kick, I fired it twice in a row and said, yes that is a lot of kick.
I am not scared of guns and that's not why I want a .22. I want something as easy to maintain as my M9 but smaller.
Do any of you have a suggestion?
I don't want a cheap piece of shit that will jam, but I do not need a hand cannon that will bulge out from my clothes and make my tinnitus worse if I have to fire it without ear protection. I want more than 6 rounds so a revolver is out, because as I never expect to have to use it, and I want a small bullet and am trained I have no problem firing controlled pairs.
It does not have to be a .22
Does anyone have a suggestion?
