Greetings gents
Looking to pick up a 9mm cartridge carbine/rifle. Right now I'm debating between the Ruger PC9 or Exotech EP9 as my contenders. Looking for input before I go window shopping tomorrow.
Main consideration and purpose of this platform would be for Personal Defense in suburban urban enviroments at closer distances, and range plinking using 9mm.
While I like the PC9 for the breakdown ability, ease of shooting and reported reliability, am concerned at its price point in my area, and some concerns regarding disassembly for maintenance.
EP9 is more financially accessible and it seems to be easy to maintain and breakdown, am concerned regarding its grouping and accuracy, that and while I am familiar with carbines, I'm a bit of a Fudd when it comes to enjoying more traditional "rifles" aside from my AR.
Any thoughts or opinions?
