Which scope for my new 30-06 Ruger Hawkeye Hunter ?

Looking for a scope that does it all, for under $500. Iām a fan of vortex so have been eyeing these, but wanted to get some feedback from the internet warriors.
If it was yours, what would you slap on this rifle to shoot 100-600 yds?
Primarily range use until I get comfortable with my shot. Eventually Iād like to go on a hunt.
