Top ranked players and win percentages

Nearly all the top ranked players have ridiculously high win percentages. I’m a blue dragon but I don’t recall facing these players, it’s very rare to play with someone with 80-90% win rates.
Are these players legit, if they are all winning who’s doing the losing? I’d have thought all the players matching them are also highly ranked and skilled players.
Edit: Seems this season is much lower than previous seasons, maybe it’s near the start.
