I have a classic vibe strat that I’m starting to upgrade after owning for about a year. I don’t have any complaints about the guitar (I got it from a small local music store so it came set up well) but I got a set of fender Texas specials for a really good price so I’m excited to get real fender pickups in the guitar.

I’m a lefty so I couldn’t just buy a loaded pick guard

My question is should I get all the wiring and pots upgraded as well (will there be a noticeable difference/could my squier wiring hold back the upgraded pickups?)

If anyone could recommend someone who could does custom pick guards and lets you send them pickups please lmk
