Issue with coil split switch

I’ve just bought a new guitar, but there is a problem with the coil split switch. When the coil split switch is off the neck pick up is actually split. Then when I switch the coil split switch on the bridge pick up is split However the neck pick up is not. The pick up configuration is HH with a 3 way toggle switch and one mini switch for coil splitting both pick ups. i’m guessing it’s just a simple wiring mistake, but I don’t know about wiring and electronics. Just hoping someone can help me because I’d rather get it fixed than go through the hassle of sending the Guitar back
