My grandfather was in prison with a man named spade Cooley. A country swing musical artist from what I’ve been able to research. I guess spade Cooley would build guitars in prison for prizes for the prisoners back then. I’ve read articles where this is true but how can I find out that it is really a spade Cooley built guitar? Thanks for any help offered. I can see inside the guitar and spade Cooleys name is written in pencil. Which has to be done while the guitar was in pieces I think.
