Headstock Crack
Post Body

I have a very old guitar, more of a family heirloom, that the kids were playing with and dropped. It cracked on its back where the neck meets the headstock.

The tension of the strings pulls the crack open, rendering the guitar permanently out-of-tune and unplayable.

I can tell that the crack runs along the wood grain and is actually pretty deep, but the surface area is paper thin.

What would you use to permeate and saturate a deep crack like that so that some C clamps would bond it permanently?
