“Limited Edition” Player Stratocaster with Custom Shop Fat ‘50s, and a roasted maple neck w/ a pau ferro fretboard.
I was initially less than thrilled about the pau ferro when I ordered it, but this piece is much less red than I’ve seen and actually comes pretty close to matching the roasted maple. It looks great and the neck feels fantastic overall.
The Fat ‘50s are, to me, the platonic ideal of Strat tone. They sound exactly like what you imagine a Strat should sound like.
