Hudson Broadcast Goes: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Post Body

hullo!

been using the broadcast as a bass pedal since i got it, but today i used it as an OD for my guitar for the first time.

with the gain trim knob at 3, and with the high gain engaged (and the knob at 12), i get a very noticeable, high pitch, constant squeal (like: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!) that i can hear between strums / note picks.

if i use the pick-up switch on my (squire) strat to select the middle pick-up, instead of the bridge pick-up, then the squeal is reduced. similarly, if i adjust the volume level on the guitar, then the noise becomes less obvious. so, while i've found ways to reduce the unwanted noise, i'd still like to know if this kind of behaviour normal for this pedal?

thanks pals!
