Is a Tube Screamer into a dirt pedal still doing the same as on a proper tube amp? My DemonFX TSGreen into a Joyo Uzi sounds great!!!!

Just had to share. Im a bedroom jammer with a serious lack of money.

Ive been using a wonderful Boss ComboDrive (AC30 style) for over 10 years. Decided to switch it up and try a Tube Screamer.

My "base" tone is trying to approximate roughly Ace Frehley 1977. Or Judas Priest' Killing Machine album.

I use a 335 standard into a Boss Katana Mk2 Im a lefty and couldnt get a decent LP without breaking the bank years ago, and Ive just fallen in love with this axe so....

Ive spent extensive time crafting a tone on the computer that sounds great, but I heard the Uzi was a "Marshall in a box" and for so cheap I was curious to play around and compare.

Love the Uzi. By itself it doesnt beat what I made custom but it comes close.

I added the DemonFX TSGreen before it and holy shit it now sounds AMAZING!

Does the "Tube screaming" thing still hold true with running it into another box instead of an amp proper? Because Ive tried other pedals with the Uzi and none made it sounds this great.

Holy smokes.

I know its not the same really, but since the Uzi functions as a Marshall, basically.....
