To the redditor who told me a couple weeks ago that my pedalboard was “very Mayer-esque without being too Mayery,” I told you it would get worse.
Had the qtron for about 24 hours now and I have to say: sometimes maybe good sometimes maybe shit. When you hit the sweet spot it sounds wonderful and makes your tone so funky you can smell it. I mean really, it could summon Old Gregg. But when you don’t have enough gain into the pedal, it really gets muddy and falls flat.
I’m going to try to put a boost in the qtron’s effects loop and see if that helps.
