Crybaby not doing the thing.

I recently got this Crybaby pretty cheap secondhand. Unfortunately it’s more like a mild volume control than a Wah. I replaced the pot, but it made no difference. I’m not really an electronics guy, anyone got any ideas where to start diagnosing they can ELI5? Also if there’s a better sub for this please let me know.
