F'ing Major shoulder pain as a new (electric) player?

Post Body

Like the title says, I'm a new player doing Justinguitar lessons and after about 2 weeks I'm having pain where my right collarbone meets my right shoulder blade. Has anyone come across this? I suspect it has something to do with my strap length or chair height. I feel like even if the guitar is resting on my right leg I've got to tippy toes with that leg to make it sit right.

Has anyone more advanced run into this problem along the way? I would really appreciate the advice (again) if there's something common that I'm doing wrong.
