Like the title says, horrible new player. I'm doing the Justin guitar lessons (which are fantastic) and I've hit a little problem on the Peter Gunn Theme. I've gotten it down so far except for the 4th fret of the riff, and to a much lesser degree the fifth fret too. I think my finger positions are good and it looks like the string is vibrating against the fret directly below it when played?

Can anyone help me diagnose the problem or has anyone encountered the same thing? I have a Squier Strat that I just pulled out of the box, tuned up myself, and dove right in. I suspect it's either a picking problem or it looks like there's little thingies where the strings attach to the bottom might raise or lower the strings from the body?

Any advice would be be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.
