Opinions on keeping 3 pigs together?

Post Body

Hey hey! I currently have one boy, and I need to get him friends. I don't really want to risk getting another boar, but the rescue I was talking to only has a pair of girls (who im obviously not even going to ask to split up) and every time I've chatted to the owner over the past few months, even before i had my little one, they've only had sows in pairs. What are your experiences having 3 pigs? Especially when 2 of them were already friends before? I know it's usually not recommended to keep them in odd numbers, but I also feel so bad keeping my baby alone

Edit: just to add, I'd be neutering him and waiting for him to fully heal and settle down before getting him any friends :) As much as I love guinea pigs, there's nothing I want less than 20 little bean pigs running around!

I used to have 4 but since their sister died I’ve had 3, no issues so far
