Hi everyone! I'm a new guinea pig owner and I'm curious: Do you do floor time with your piggies on the bare floor or with blankets/towels/padding? I know floor time is crucial for piggies' health and happiness, so I want to arrange for more floor time, but I'm not entirely sure how best to go about it. So far, I've been using the hardwood floor without any padding, but I'm wondering if that's the best idea.

Also, how much poop/pee do you generally have to clean up after each floor time session? Do you clean everything at once after your piggies have returned home, or do you clean as they happen? And what cleaning products do you use? My boy Ryan seems to enjoy peeing on the floor near walls, and it's been surprisingly difficult to thoroughly wipe it clean.
