Guayusa is a magical caffeinated Holly tree native to the Amazon Rainforest, specifically Ecuador, Colombia, & Peru. Guayusa contains varying amounts of L-theanine, theophylline, EGC and EGCG, theobromine, along with methylxanthines, such as caffeine, adenine as well as vitamins C, B1, and B2, Niacin, carotene, phenols, tannins, reductive sugars, steroids, terpenes, flavonoids, quinones, and all 22 amino acids. It has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects.
