What kind of side effects did you get after receiving your first dose of the vaccine? Hearing that 16 and above can now get, and Iām quite scared
I have had both, I also work night shift and it ended up where I'd get the shot then go home to bed and back to work that night. My first I took OTC pain relief before heading to bed woke up with a little bit of a sore arm, went to work 12hrs after the shot and made sure to take more OTC pain relief. All night I used the sore arm despite how painful it was and by the end of my 12 hr shift it was nearly fine, the soreness went away by the next day after working out and taking more OTC prophylactically.
My second shot went pretty much the same, until 24hrs after, the end of my shift I had my arm feeling like it did the first time but was feeling body aches, I took more OTC pain relief and went to bed woke up with no aches or pains. Though I will say, others have felt worse on their last shot, with more severe body aches. However, like any vaccine, it is your body's way of working hard to react and trigger an immune response. It's an amazing process that should be recognized. Here is a short 6min video explaining why we see these symptoms when getting vaccines.
