Looking at getting a GT-R

Hello all, I have been looking at getting a GT-R as the title explains. But I have been doing a lot of research and worrying myself about getting state reffed at some point. I just moved down to California from Washington State and from what I’ve seen Cops here don’t mess around with “Custom” Cars. I’m thinking about getting a 2016 with decent miles. What would you guys recommend would be the best years or advice for the emissions problems?
