shark cards aren't showing up!!!!

i bought two shark cards that say Xbox live, rockstar says I bought the wrong edition? it's supposed to say x/s? I didn't know shark money was console specific like that. I just thought I was buying money for my Xbox GTA character. they tell me there's nothing they can do about it. Microsoft says not their problem and no refunds..... I am on GTA online so my old character doesn't even exist
