I am in the market for a G-shock sports watch. I have been an apple watch user since its 1st gen, but I am done with it now! Buying the new SE was a mistake! Pathetic battery life! Apple watches have also become way too common these days.

This will be my first G-Shock but always been a fan of its rugged appearance.
From the G-Shock range, I am considering GBD-H2000 and GSW H1000. Which one would you recommend?

GBD-H2000 seems like the right choice if I prioritise battery life, but I am so used to the discrete notifications on the smartwatches - especially when I am in a business meeting. Love to hear your perspectives. I don't mind the daily charging, but I would like it to last at least 24 hours, especially when I have a long day catching the first flight out and coming back on the last flight in...
