Imagine a world where Kurt Cobain didn't meet his tragic end. Would Nirvana still be the revered band they are today? If they had continued to produce albums and even embarked on a comeback tour, would the public interest remain as fervent?
Would Dave Grohl have felt the need to branch out and form the Foo Fighters? And where would they stand in today's music scene?

I like to think they would have ended up similar to Pearl Jam. Still making music decades later that is still true to the original sound, yet less known slowly more and more over time, but still have sellout shows where they play the classics everyone knows and loves.
