Where is my dogs’s quick?

Hello,
I usually take my dog to the groomer but I want to try to save money and clip my dog’s nails on my own. I had a question about the quick. Is it JUST where the pink is (1) or is it that almost yellowish clear section (2).
Basically am I safe to cut in 2 or should I only stick to 3?

Yeah haha my dog is a very food motivated girl, but the grooming/trimming was just too much for her to stand even with peanut butter on a lick mat. It looks awful and it doesn’t help them “like” grooming anymore than they already do but I got a harness that I hang on a sturdy rail in my laundry room and I put her in that and it has literally helped so much. She actually looks forward to it now because I give her treats afterward. She’s 15lbs so I obviously make sure the rail is incredibly sturdy, but I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who has trouble grooming their dog and has something VERY STURDY to hang the harness from.
