People further away in the beginning of my grid!

Am I the only one? The first 3 lines of my grid are guys who are 3-4-5 or 7km away, then come the guys who are in my neighbourhood, at 200m, 500m etc. It started a couple weeks ago with 2-3 further guys, then 4-5 and now almost 10 guys in the beginning of my grid are far away! I hate this, I don’t want that, I want to see guys who are near only. I don’t have Xtra, I use iPhone and iPad and the problem occurs on both. Can someone explain what’s happening and how I can correct/prevent this? Thx
