I'm a computer science student and have been researching location aware app security. After the whole 'Fuckr' fiasco one might think that Grindr would've made it harder to pinpoint users' exact locations to within 1 metre or so, this is sadly not the case (for users who share their distance with others). Please be careful, especially if homosexuality ins't socially accepted/illegal as this would allow anyone with technical knowhow to pinpoint your exact location.
Obviously for some users this isn't an issue but just thought I should make people aware if they weren't already.
