Burned cote a los

Hi folks, i have a problem with grilling my lovely cote a los steak on the grill. The piece is always quite thick and i love it to have a crust. When i put it too long on the grill on low heat, the meat gets real dry. On high heat it burns quickly and its still raw inside. Not bleu or saignent but really raw. Its never good. Any tips? Thx in advance
