Rewatching this & it is so reminiscent of George’s dad. Except Maggie should have known better, she forced her mother into treatment she didn’t want and everyone else advised against. I wonder if she hadn’t been adopted, Diane would have been more resistant to the pressure and Maggie would have been more objective.
If I get cancer, I’m not telling anyone until it’s too late. Even though I’ve made it clear what I want, I don’t want any Hail Marys.
It least GA didn’t get us as attached to Diane as Papa O’Malley.
