Derek died.

I completely understand how Derek's loss in essence affected the show, the characters on the show, and how the series progressed, and I have definitely felt strongly about how his death resonated with the other characters and the ripples it made through countless episodes to come.

HOWEVER...

The specifics of HOW Derek died were so unbelievably frustrating that it made it so difficult for me to feel the least bit bad for him when he passed. Like REALLY Mr "genius brain surgeon" decided to PARK his car SIDEWAYS in the MIDDLE of a mountain highway because "hmmm ok I wonder where my phone is..."? What the hell did he expect to happen?

Derek had a mostly great presence on the show and I was definitely not HAPPY to see him die, but with how it went down, I definitely wasn't that upset either.
