Two part discussion post:
(1) should Bailey have received the Catherine Fox award for a non-surgical project?
(2) if you answer (1) in the affirmative, would Addison have been a more deserving recipient?
I think of it’s for surgical innovation, the answer to one is: no. No non-surgical projects should win. But if we answer one in the affirmative, Dr. Montgomery deserved it more.
