Preface: This episode Meredith learns that Amelia and Owen are involved with each other and butts in a bit to make sure âbothâ are being âcarefulâ.
In the end of the episode, Amelia snaps on Meredith and tells her that she doesnât know what itâs like to lose the love of your life and cry over them.
Not even 2 episodes later Derek dies and Meredith experiences exactly what Amelia describes.
I get what Amelia meant, but honestly I wouldnât be surprised if there was a little guilt for Amelia after Derek died from her saying this.
For Meredith to understand how Amelia felt, she would have to lose the love of her life, which coincidentally is Ameliaâs brother.
Did she jinx them?đ¤
