Addy officially announced yesterday that, after losing the lawsuit brought by their landlord, Addy's in downtown Greenville is officially, permanently closed. The past few years have been difficult for the restaurant and this was the last nail in the coffin. I myself have fond memories of this place, and am sad to see it come to this.
I am including this link so that you can read it from Addy himself. I think this is allowed according to the rules of this subreddit, but if I misunderstood then mods please remove:

Probably plays into it on some level. That dude is garbage and always has been. The spot itself used to be pretty cool and I will miss it. Itโs really a shame that the building as is has pretty much zero value till itโs repaired and brought to code
