I realize this isn't exclusive to G'ville but why do people carry on at graduations? I can see a little 'woo hoo' although they ask to hold all applause and cheers until after all graduates are announced but some people are still cheering while the announcer is on to the next name. Very disrespectful.
I couldn’t even enjoy my son’s graduation because it was annoying me. I didn’t hear his name clearly when they called it out because the previous kid’s family was still screaming. I get it. I wanted to yell for my kid. But not at the expense of someone else’s moment and not so graduation would have to be 3 hours long.
