PERM Process outside US can I visit as Tourist

Hello guys I have a current process for EB3 and we are currently on the recruitment process. I will have to leave the US and wait while my process to finish. My question is: Can I visit the US while my process is going? I have an Italian Passport so I would not have to get a VISA.
