So my dear sister was driving from montana to missouri with her pyrenees/poodle mix Poppy when she saw one running in the middle of the highway! She came running to my sister. We have been calling ethical shelters and making posts like crazy with absolutely no luck so we decided she can stay in the family home.
Sheās very torn up (superficially) and likely was abandoned/extra farm litter. My sister took her to an emergency vet and she is healthy but barely a year if that. I have an older (almost 9) lab mix who is lazy bones and 2 cats that grew up with dogs. Weāre prepared to get training and not naive but not sure what type is best. I hear a lot of conflicting things about great pyrenees needs so I came to the hub! Any items that you canāt live without, any tricks, anything your pyr loves!! We live in a cold climate with super mild summers so i hope she will get rest here. My dog is very playful though and I hope it doesnāt bother her.
Donāt mind her temp raggy looksā¦ My sis had to cut a grocery bag full of matts off her in the hotel :( Sheās getting alone really well with Poppy so far!
Also how in the world is my sister traveling with her GP and finds another! What a weird beautiful world.
Thank you so much š¾

Love this so much for you. Get her used to being brushed NOW, or you'll never be able to!
