Like many of you I am on propronolol to calm down my heart rate/blood pressure and I have trouble sleeping through the night. Prior to my TSH getting too low (and thrusting me into hyper) I was able to to take both full spectrum and broad spectrum CBD, some with CBN for sleep with no issues.
Last night I took two broad spectrum CBD/CBN gummies for the first time since I started my meds and my heart rate immediately elevated and stayed that way all night. Even this morning it is elevated. I took broad spectrum cbd gummies (with NO CBN) a few nights before and didn't have this effect. But it also didn't really help with me with sleep.
Have any of you experienced this? Is CBD not good to take while on Proporonolol and Methimazole?
Very interesting! I had a similar experience and didn’t know if it was a coincidence or not. I used to take full spectrum CBD regularly in the evening to help with sleep. I tried taking it again recently after being diagnosed and not only did it not help with sleep, my heart rate was elevated. I’m not certain that it was the CBD. I actually thought it might have been related to my cycle but I’ve avoided it ever since.
