Hey guys, it's time for me to upgrade from a 1070ti. I want to start gaming in 4k, and turn on HDR when available which also uses resources.
I also want to be able to stream with the video card (CPU streaming on my TR 2920x brings horrible stuttering due to the architecture).
The reason why I'm bringing this up comes down to money. I can afford both but the 3080 12GB is significantly lower cost- $855 after MIR, taxes, and shipping from newegg. The 3080ti is $1100 after taxes.
I also do some video editing in Premiere Pro.
Reviews seem to be all over the place between negligible to 10%.
What would you do in your position? Affordability isn't a problem but I'd rather not spend the money if I don't need to.
Thanks!
