I understand the differences between credit hours, but what about beyond that? What are the advantages of doing one versus the other? Is one better/more valuable?

Iā€™m applying to either the Advertising or Graphic Design graduate program at SCAD. They both have an MA and MFA option.

I don't have a goal to teach, I'm more interested in being an experienced/professional graphic designer (I feel like I still have more to learn beyond my Bachelors), to set myself apart from job candidates with only a Bachelors, and potentially earn a higher salary.
