I am a graphic designer (last 4-5 years) and i feel bad for admitting it but i have never used AI OR CHATGPT or whatever you call it.
I work with a communication team and we had a meeting about open AI today, dam i felt so LOST and far behind. People at my job use it for writing post for social media, text correction, content creation, etc. But i feel its way more easy to use it for text creation than graphic design creation.
So yeah, now i have been looking at adobe express, adobe firefly (only online beta i think) etc. I can do some cool stuff i am amazed. From illustration to logos, etc. But all i can do is download the final file in PNG.
I think its cool for inspiration, but just to work on it after to give it my own personnal touch. Must logo i tried sucked, but sometimes i would have love to work on a font firefly proposed me.
I would never use something 100% created not by me and claim it as my own.. would feel ashamed.
with Adobe giving only PNGs, i feel those tools are mostly for people who have no clue in design and only want a 100% end product. or am i wrong ?
thanks !
