There are quite a few historic racing cars in this game, but there aren't any decent events to race them in!
I tried the Road Atlanta Gr.1 event with the Mazda 787B and despite my best efforts keeping up with the race leaders was just about impossible. If a Tomahawk or one of those insane Peugeot things turns up, you're toast. They have handling that's literally impossible achieve with today's tech, so to win you're effectively forced to use a VGT.
That got me thinking- why isn't there a "Group C" event? Sure, there are only five Group C cars in the game, but they could feasibly add more and half the field at Le Mans in the 80's/early 90's was made up of privateer Porsche 962s anyway. Why not do a "Group C" update with the Peugeot 905 and Toyota 88C-V from previous games and some dedicated races?
Similarly they could add events for the 50's cars and the 60's/early 70's cars. 30-minute long endurance races at Spa, Le Mans, and the Nurburgring, prize for winning 800,000cr or more and suddenly the grind is much more interesting, because you're not driving the same old Gr.3 or Gr.4 cars anymore.
